Oklahoma Fishing Trail

The Oklahoma Fishing Trail is a collaborative initiative between the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department. The main target was avid anglers in-state and out-of-state. Displayed below are two options that were not chosen.

Concept 1

This solution plays up the fun and feel-good nature of fishing, employing a style that is rooted in established outdoor and sports design aesthetics. The logo uses modern design techniques paired with bold and vibrant colors that together make this solution unique but appropriate for the space.

Concept 2

This solution takes the elements of a trail and fishing and marries the two together in a clever way. Using a map marker icon to reference the trail, it is paired with a hook that makes the mark look like a fishing lure. Fonts and colors provide a down-to-earth style that has a timeless, yet modern aesthetic.
