Oklahoma City Documentary
Oklahoma City: The Boom, The Bust and The Bomb chronicles Oklahoma City’s history from the oil boom of the 1970s, the banking bust of the 1980s and the 1995 Murrah Bombing and how it shaped OKC’s prosperous future. The documentary was produced, written and directed by Mick Cornett, former Oklahoma City Mayor and author of The Next American City: The Big Promise of Our Midsize Metros.
Design direction was inspired by newspaper headlines and typography during this era as well as archival photography and footage used for the film.
